The new Boots store at the Galway Shopping Centre officially opens its doors today, Wednesday 24 October. The store’s opening follows the recent opening of a new Paco store in the centre. The two outlets have created around 23 jobs, with this number set to increase during the Christmas season.

The CEO of Creganna-Tactx Medical has said its recent acquisition will provide a major boost for the Galway company’s technology. It was announced on Friday that the Ballybrit medical devices company had acquired ABT Medical, which designs and manufactures medical balloons for minimally invasive devices and serves a global portfolio of medical device companies.
