Appeal for information on local burglaries

Gardai are appealing for information in relation to a number of burglaries in the city earlier this month.

A number of items, including a black Playstation3, blue Nintendo DS, white Wii, PS3 games and a pink Nokia flip phone, were stolen from a house in the Castlepark area of Ballybane on Sunday 8 April between 3pm and 8.30pm.

Meanwhile, an X-Box games console, jewellery, a Canon camera and a Toshiba laptop were taken from an apartment in the Kings Valley complex on the Dublin Road on Monday 9 April between 7.30pm and 1.30am.

Four buses, which were parked in the Harbour Enterprise Park, were also ransacked between 9pm and 9am on Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 April. DVD players and fire extinguishers were stolen from each bus in the incident.
