The nine student protesters arrested during a demonstration at Galway Deputy Brian Walsh's office yesterday have been released.

A spokesperson for Mill Street Garda Station confirmed to the Galway Independent this afternoon that all of the protesters were released without charge, but added that a file on the incident had been sent to the DPP. The group descended on Deputy Walsh's Bohermore constituency office in a bid to receive clarification on third level fees ahead of next week's annual budget.
