Final chance to prep national league teams
With NUI Galway already down to face Mayo in the FBD League home final on the weekend after next, this weekend’s games can be utilised for giving playing a much needed run before the launch of the national league.
Alan Mulholland will be delighted to have his side back to winning ways last weekend and they will hope to end the campaign on a high with victory over Sligo in Tuam on Sunday (2pm).
Elsewhere in pool two, IT Sligo take on John Maughan’s NUIG in Tourlestrane (2pm) in what should be an excellent warm up for each side’s Sigerson Cup campaigns.
Eoin O’Donnellan’s GMIT side will be hoping to seal their first win of the campaign when they take on Leitrim in Strokestown’s new pitch at 2pm on Sunday, while Roscommon and Mayo meet in the final group match in Ballinlough.
