Club List - February & Mars live

Becks Vier First Fridays monthly electronic session is back with a bang this Friday, 3 February as sonic space cadets February & Mars bring their cosmic space rock disco sounds to The Blue Note.

February & Mars’ debut album, to be released later this year, has been produced by Feel Music’s John Daly.

Their Blue Note live show will see them performing new material from this much anticipated album as well as tracks from their well received debut EP ‘Dragonflies’.

Using classic drum machines and analogue synths, the handsome two-some concoct a hypnotic sound that stands shoulder to shoulder with the finest electronic music from Chicago or Detroit. It’s essential, emotive dance music that’s refreshing and contemporary while doffing a cap to their myriad of influences from 80s synths to prog rock and proto-house to blissed-out Balearic vibes.

As well as being the year that sees the duo release their first long player, 2012 will see February & Mars bring their raw live sounds to clubs and festivals around Ireland and beyond.
