Do you think sit-ins are effective forms of protest?

Andrew King - Anything that raises awareness of situations is good, we should all be supportive, instead of taking what is thrown at us!

Peadar Harper - Unfortunately sit-ins really don't accomplish much apart from highlighting the awful situation which the workers are in. The tragedy of Galway Airport is that the airport management turned down an offer of a new site… which would have been capable of accommodating large, commercial aeroplanes.
